Richard Rowe Harris

Richard Harris, 86, of Edmonton, KY passed away Sunday, December 28, 2025, at Signature Healthcare in Glasgow, KY. He was born in Metcalfe County on November 13, 1939, son of the late Lemmie and Elsie Davis Harris.

Mr. Harris was of the Baptist faith and a retired electrician and farmer. He enjoyed watching TV, playing pool and spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years Sandra Blaydes Harris of Edmonton, KY; two sons Daryl Harris (Tammy) of Glasgow, KY and Mike Harris of Bowling Green, KY and a granddaughter Gracie Harris of Glasgow, KY.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one sister, Amy Beth Stephens and three brothers, Dwight, Dwain and Joe Harris.

Graveside services will be 12:00pm Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at Metcalfe Memorial Gardens with Bro. Josh Grider officiating.

Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4:00-7:00pm at Jessie-Wilson Funeral Home.
